We have known Jeffrey Hillinger as a stalwart friend and business associate for over a decade. He means what he says and says what he means. As a representative on any level, you would be hard pressed to find someone who is more responsible, diligent, creative, hard working, patient and grounded. Time and time again, we have seen him overcome many seemingly insurmountable challenges without complaint and use his array of talents to, simply, “get ‘er done.”  He loves where he lives, and we have no doubt that, if given the chance, Jeffrey will be the best representative and booster the town of Littlerock could ever have.

Subject:  Letter of Recommendation/Endorsement for Jeff Hillinger

To Whom It May Concern,

 It is my pleasure to introduce Mr. Hillinger with my personal recommendations and counsel.

 I have known Jeff for a number of years and can advise to you, your business or other establishment that he is of the best of character, trustworthiness and good will.  

  I have had the distinct pleasure of attending both as a racer/participant and spectator a number of races, car shows and related automotive themed events that Jeff has had a direct hand in producing. Without fail, each of these events has proved to be professionally run, well organized and successful in every measurable way. The events produced by Jeff Hillinger on the grounds of the Los Angeles County Raceway (LACR) were among the best single weekends I personally ever spent at that track. Additionally, I can attest to the fact that the friends, crew and spectators I brought out with my race car to these events also had excellent experiences.

  Further, in the past years Jeff has, at times almost single-handedly, been at the very forefront of all efforts to keep LACR open and viable. His has been the voice most reasoned and responsible in the past efforts to give the Lancaster/Palmdale area and its residents a safe, established and secure place to race. Jeff has attended all meetings and occasions to further this good cause and when the point came that it was apparent no solution was left to keep the current track open, it was Jeff Hillinger who directed, contacted, met with and negotiated with any willing party to locate, fund, establish and open a new replacement facility.

  Lastly, no one knows or cares more about the future of racing in the Lancaster Valley than Jeff Hillinger. I have been motivated to offer my limited assistance to causes Jeff has championed by his energy, his drive and his unfailing faith that the work can be done and the outcome will eventually be successful. My personal exchanges and history with Jeff are always of constant good will, top flight effort and dedication to the cause and project at hand.

  While I, myself, due to my own business concerns, commitments and limited resources am unable to fund or provide more then limited assistance to Jeff in these current endeavors, I must state here, for the record, that I personally believe that any individual, company, partnership or group that may contemplate going forward in any effort to bring a constructive, profitable and worthwhile automotive/entertainment facility into the Lancaster Valley without deeply considering making good use of Jeff Hillinger’s knowledge, service record and experience is doing themselves and investors a disservice.

  I would endorse Mr. Hillinger for any position, opening, situation or duty to which you or your company may consider him qualified.  I have known Jeffery Hillinger for over fifteen years and as the Director of Marketing for Los Angeles County Raceway for sixteen years I have had the opportunity to work with him on several occasions.

 Mr. Hillinger has promoted many events at LACR through the years including his input as a board member and organizer for the Big Rigs for Kids charity Truck Drags, which was one of the largest 18 wheeler events in country that raised money for under privileged kids. His ability to take care of the racers needs and at the same time produce a profitable race is beyond reproach. His annual “Ratfink Party” alone was one of the largest races held at LACR each year. Mr. Hillinger also has a keen sense of detail, which is one of the reasons that he has had such success in Drag Racing.

 Being a long time Drag Racer himself he understands racers and what it takes to be involved in the sport, he is also at home with managing staff and track crews as well as  dealing with sponsors and other corporate entity’s.

 It’s my opinion that any company that would take advantage of Mr. Hillinger’s expertise would be adding a valuable asset to their organization.
